Congratulations! Justice, Peace, Integrity of Creation Club

The DWCU Joyfully Welcomes

the Birth of JPICC

The spirit of the 3rd Campus Pastoral Assembly of the DWCU that brought to fruition the 5-year Pastoral Plan of the institution continues to inspire the students and the faculty to implement the resolutions of the assembly. The Committee on Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation recently called for an assembly that brought to nativity the JPICC  the brain child of Mr. Reynald Mamasig. The founder of the club then writes:

Justice, Peace, Integrity of Creation Club (JPICC) is the youngest club of Divine Word College of Urdaneta, High School Department. It is founded to respond to the challenge of promoting and protecting God’s creation based on Arnoldus spirituality. During the assembly last August 5, 2010 the members made a commitment to uphold the four core values of Divine Word Education Association (DWEA) such as integrity, social responsibility, excellence, evangelization, by carrying out environment-related and social welfare-enhancing activities such as tree planting, adoption of Barangay, forum on climate change and youth-oriented issues, seminar-workshop on waste segregation, putting -up a mini-creation spirituality park, and site visitation/nature trip. In order to flesh-out these activities, the members were organized into three committees – Internal, External and Finance.
