Masigla Class 2009!

“Naging tao ang Salita at siya’y nanirahan sa piling natin. Nakita namin ang kanyang kapangyarihan at kadakilaan, puspos ng pag-ibig at katapatan. Tinanggap niya mula sa Ama ang kapangyarihan at kadakilaang ito bilang bugtong na Anak.” (Jn. 1:14)

“Masigla” … Full of life! Full of joy and gratitude you celebrate the amazing success of your basic education in the pre-school and elementary at the cradle of your alma mater the Divine Word College of Urdaneta. One with you, the whole academic community rejoices over your accomplishments as the words and deeds of your teachers transmitted into knowledge and incarnated in you have made you what you have become and who will you be in the future as bearers of the Word.

Your graduation theme: “With gratitude and enthusiasm, we renew our mission as witnesses to the Word” reverberate the spirit of our centennial celebration as we share together the fruits of the mission of our forerunners we express our heartfelt gratitude to the Divine Word for giving us the privilege of journeying together with Him. With enthusiasm, that is with eagerness you vow to renew “na maging masigla” your vocation, your call as heralds for “A Better World” ‘til your dreams come true.

Congratulations dear graduates! May you continue to be “masigla” as you carry on the journey of realizing your dreams, may the Divine Word the Great Teacher be always with you… now and forever!
